Atria is a recent selection by Tom Wahl of Red Fern Farm in Wapello, Iowa, from a seedling of Susquehanna crossed with Shenandoah. The breeder describes large elongated fruit with a low seed count, excellent flavor, heavy production, and mid season ripening. Grower feedback beyond the breeder is limited so far, as the variety has only recently reached nurseries.
