   • New content

     Listed social profiles for 86 of our listings: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok links were collected from each business's own website and never guessed. Listing pages that have them now show a Follow row, and place-based listings gained a small map of how to drive there.

2. Jul 27, 2026

   • Events

     Corrected the venue for the Boston Mountain Pawpaw Festival in Chester, Arkansas. The 3rd annual festival on September 12, 2026 is based indoors at The Life Center on Chester Street, with live music, food and the cornhole tournament at the Chester Farmer's Market across the street. Our listing still pointed at the previous venue.

   • Removed

     Removed a Hatfield, Massachusetts listing. A closer look showed a backyard grower who sells a few trees on the side rather than a place the public can visit or order from, so it no longer met the bar for the directory.

3. Jul 22, 2026

   • Events

     Added The New River PawpawFest in Blacksburg VA, an annual mid-September festival at Rising Silo Brewery with free fresh pawpaw tastings, live music, vendors, and native plants. Next held September 19, 2026.

4. Jul 21, 2026

   • New content

     Started tracking live nursery stock. Every cultivar page now says how many nurseries ship that variety and how many have it in stock, with the date each seller was last confirmed. Sold out varieties take restock alerts.

5. Jul 19, 2026

   • New listings

     Added The Wild Ramp in Huntington WV, a year round local food market where a handful of area growers sell fresh pawpaws each September and October.

6. Jul 18, 2026

   • Re-verified

     Re-verified five Etsy seed sellers and Bob Wells Nursery with live pawpaw stock, fixed three seller links (Elmore Roots, Bob Wells, Fruitwood), and removed three sellers: NatureBasedNY and Home Ec. Preserves have closed, and The Banana Tree's old domain no longer belongs to the nursery.

   • New content

     New guide: where to buy pawpaw fruit, covering in-person sellers by state, the short list that ships fresh fruit or frozen pulp, and what fruit costs.

   • New content

     Verified four more cultivars (Atria, Horn's White, Mango, Wells), added two coming-soon farms (Hang Loose Pawpaw Patch in Wilmore KY and Beech Grove Farm in Seymour TN), and recorded 37 new seller stock links across the cultivar pages.

     Added new guides: what a pawpaw tastes like, where to buy pawpaw trees, pawpaw vs papaya, how to identify a pawpaw, and where pawpaws grow.

   • Events

     Launched the pawpaw festivals hub with confirmed 2026 dates and pages for the biggest festivals across the country.

     Expanded into a full pawpaw field guide: 31 cultivar pages with grower-sourced flavor notes, plus the Can-I-Grow-It zone tool.

     Verified a new batch of mail-order nurseries and online sellers across GA, IL, KS, and LA.

      Added pawpaw festivals across the eastern U.S., several with confirmed 2026 dates.
