The Pawpaw Report
Pawpaw season lasts a few weeks and the good trees sell out faster — some nurseries clear a year's grafted stock in days. This list exists so you hear about both in time to act.
What you'll get
- Season-opening alerts — when ripening starts in each region, keyed to the season tracker, with festivals and u-picks worth planning around.
- Restock notes — when mail-order nurseries on the map list grafted trees, seedlings, or stratified seed again. These windows are short; that's the point of an email.
- Map updates — newly verified orchards and farms, occasionally.
What you won't get
Volume. Off-season this runs monthly at most — often quarterly, because pawpaw news in February is thin and we won't pad it. During the August–October season it steps up to match the pace of real news: ripening, restocks, festivals. No daily digests, no sponsored blasts; if a paid placement ever appears it will be labeled as such.
