Prolific pawpaw lives up to its name, setting fruit heavily, and one grower confirms it requires no hand pollination in their orchard to set many fruit. The medium-to-large, yellow-fleshed fruit is sweet, and the Corwin Davis selection is widely used as a breeding parent. It ripens late, into the first week of October in Michigan.
It seems very prolific, requiring no hand pollination in my little orchard to set many fruit.
